Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?"Mark 4:39-40 NKJ

If it's too calm in your life, brace yourself a storm is on the horizon. If you're in the midst of a storm and turbulence, rejoice, calm is on its way. When we've become too complacent, life brews a storm in order to continue our growth. We can't appreciate the calm unless we've experienced the storms. Calm is a period of rest not to be confused with retirement and stagnation. When we make that mistake, life has an obligation to challenge us. Appreciate the calm and the storm for what they truly are—a blessing. Calm gives us rest, lest we perish from a never ending battle. Storms strengthen us and advance us to the next level, lest we become stagnate and stop growing.

" Affirmation: The next time a storm occurs in my life rather than react in fear I will respond in faith knowing it will soon pass over and calm will take its place. "
